The Shaw Heights Middle School PEDAL Program serves eligible gifted and talented students who, when compared with others of similar age, demonstrate high leadership or creative potentials or high performance academically, intellectually, and in the performing arts. Since WPS is a competency based system, all students, including our high-ability learners, can accelerate through various performance levels based on the speed and depth by which standards are mastered.
