STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: JAMESON MCCOY
Level 7 - Westminster Academy of International Studies

Jameson is a standout student and athlete at Westminster Academy of International Studies. His principal Fay Airomlo raves about him. She thinks he is an exceptional student who is also going places in this world.  "Jameson is a student who dares to explore beyond the familiar, learns with passion, and inspires others with their curiosity, resilience, and kindness.  His journey is just beginning, and already, he is making the world brighter."

Someday, Jameson wants to go to Westy and eventually study politics. Eventually, he sees himself going to law school to become a lawyer. In his free time, he loves playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. He is also learning Mandarin Chinese. Soon, he will join his class on a trip to France for a weeklong study abroad.

The teacher or coach who has inspired me the most is my soccer club coach Stefon. He helped me a lot when I was down, especially if I was frustrated when I wasn’t playing as well as I wanted to. And he helped me to be a better person. And also Ms. Ka has always been supportive of me. She would always encourage us students to keep our heads up.
